A couple of fairly flat, easy walks from the Village Hall (free) carpark are to walk down West Lane, turn right into Pheasant Walk to go past the 16th Century St Mary's Chapel and the Millenium stone.
Or you could go past Pheasant walk and take the next right into the Avenue to see the very attractive St John's Church. If you continue along the Avenue, turn right onto West Lane and then first right into Wrenshot Lane, the second turning on your right will bring you to Pheasant Walk which you can go up to bring you back round in an attractive loop. (If you wish to go for a "walk in the car" please note that "The Avenue" is a very narrow road which is one way only.)
The noticeboard on the outside of the Village Hall has a map of the public footpaths - to give you ideas about where you can walk in the more rural parts of High Legh. This footpath map can be downloaded from here.
There are several outdoor spaces around High Legh:
Small childrens Play area - between Pheasant Walk and the Belfry
Football Pitch on play area beside Candelan Way, at the entrance to the Belfry.
