Planning permission for our new premises was finally granted on the 5th March. We will soon be able to open at Rosemead on Pheasants Walk.  We had almost given up hope on Cheshire East ever making a decision on our application as they missed 3 deadlines, but eventually with support from our Parish Council, our CEC Councillor Olivia Hunter and our MP Ester McVey, it was finally granted.  Thank you all.

We have started work externally and parking for 10 cars has been completed. There are extensive gardens at Rosemead and these have been cleared and made secure for the children to play in. There are two gardens. We will have a large area to run around and play, and an area to create a nature garden and grow food and plants.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be converting the bathroom into little cubicles for the children and creating a changing area. There’s not much more to do apart from installation of fire safety equipment. There is a considerable cost to this and we have created a Justgiving crowd funding page to help fund these items.  Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we are already half way towards our target with just a few days left. We thought that if everyone who had attended preschool and enjoyed their time there donated £5 then we would smash our target.  To help  please visit:.

Our 12th Annual ball at Heyrose golf club was a fantastic evening and we raised approximately £2.5k.  Each year we create a ‘masterpiece’ with the children, this year’s piece of art was created by printing with bottle tops and raised £250!

Next month on 21st April we will be holding our Spring Trail at St. Johns. This is a lovely day for all the family following a trail around the village and back to the Church room for refreshments.  I’m sure there will be a few clues along the way in the lovely gardens of Rosemead for a sneaky peek before we open.

We hope to be open at Rosemead in May. We have to wait for certain paperwork to be completed before we can open. Currently we don’t have a timescale for this, so the date cannot be confirmed. We will keep all interested parties informed.

We will open from 8am - 6pm, closing only for a week at Christmas and a week during August, catering for children aged 2 -5 years. We will retain our charitable status and therefore we will be able to offer competitive rates to similar settings in the area.  If you would like to reserve a place for your child, please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
